Good Morning everyone. How has your day been going? Did you have a good Monday? Matthew made some great progress on our project, well truth be told its his baby. It sprung from my idea but its all him. I love it and I really think/hope you guys will to. It has been a while since I have done a book review or discussion. Since, I love books I have decided I want to toss some in from time to time.

Since starting our business I have tried reading just about everything I can get my hands on to help our business grow and succeed. I usually have about 5-6 tabs open on my laptop at any given time each with some kind of tips or what not to help our business succeed. Today’s book is a book about Marketing. We haven’t done much marketing as of this moment but as we get bigger or if we want to get bigger we will obviously need to concentrate more in that area.

Today’s Book:

What modern marketing is all about?

According to the ancient Kama Sutra, “Love is where physical, emotional, and spiritual experiences meet for the purpose of strengthening relationships.”

Isn’t this what modern marketing is all about?

Love is, in fact, the very peak of emotional marketing. Putting this philosophy into practice is not only a revolutionary concept, but it’s also a guaranteed platform of success.

In this ground-breaking marketing guide, veteran marketing guru Jacob Levy borrows analogies from philosophies and practices of romantic love, as described in the Kama Sutra, the oldest and best source on the theory and practice of love, written some 1500 years ago, to help you delve into the world of emotional marketing.

In crisp, concise language, Levy discusses the following topics:

  • Using the marriage vow in marketing
  • Wooing your customers
  • Maintaining your customers’ loyalty
  • Seducing your competitors’ wives
  • And much more

Levy also shows you how to include the term “Reciprocal Love” in the strategies and mission statements of your organization, and deftly reveals how marketing this message to females is essential for success.

Understanding emotional-based marketing is imperative in this new age. For all those involved in the highly competitive field of marketing, Kama Sense Marketing gives you the edge in propelling your business to new and exciting heights. Amazon

My Review on Amazon:

Let the wooing begin!

As a business owner I have been reading more and more about marketing. I was very pleased with Mr. Levy’s take on marketing. Love is an intricate part of our day to day lives, it makes sense for it to also be used in your marketing. The Author uses the Kama Sutra to discuss how to do just that. As a customer I can say with certainty that if I walked into a store and had the experience discussed in his book, “in our shop, we like the customers….. That was how it really was; at the Paradise, it was as if they were at a private party. when they were there, they felt constantly courted with flattery and showered with adoration, which entranced even the most virtuous”, that I would be more likely to by purchase something. Whereas on the flip side as a business owner to make the customer feel as though they are a part of something special just makes sense.

As stated before I don’t think a Tuesday will go by without me at least mentioning my favorite show.

What did you think of Sunday’s Walking Dead?

I found some of it to be brutal. They were not great people but holy crap to die like that. I had the same expression Maggie, Glenn, and Tara had.

Also, does anyone know who was in the bushes?

!!Have a great day!!
