How are you doing?

I am so tired. We stayed up late playing games with friends. Have you tried Cards against Humanity? If not, its a card game in which you each take turns drawing a black card which is the topic. For instance one of the topics I drew was “What is Dick Cheney’s favorite thing”? (it was something along those lines.) You have a hand of 10 cards, varying from tame like green grass to “dirty” stuff. At times it is down right hilarious, while others no one has good cards so its like eh.

My friend got”_______ kid tested mother approved”. I didn’t have anything great so I played poopy diapers. πŸ™‚

Forgive me, I am tired. Hopefully my coffee perks me up.

Its Short-film Saturday!

Matt isn’t here this morning, he is out helping his sister move. So therefore it shall be all mine.

Did that sound at all villainous?

This one is well known, but Matthew and I love it and I think it needs a spot on our blog.

It stars Neil Patrick Harris, Felicia Day, Nathan Fillion

Trailer

What is not to like? You get to walk through life with the villain. Well and aspiring villain.

Was just reading a little about it on wikipedia. Apparently it was written during the 07-08 writers guild of America strike.

Created By: Joss Whedon, Zack Whedon, Jed Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen.

The idea was to create something small and inexpensive, yet professionally done, in a way that would circumvent the issues that were being protested during the strike

Time magazine named it #15 in Time’s Top 50 Inventions of 2008

Tips

After making a few short films, you may find yourself getting bored. This is actually a good sign, because it shows you’re growing. When this happens, begin to come up with more complex short film ideas and then write a well crafted screenplay. FilmMakingStuff

I Love the music in this movie! The only musical I’ve ever liked. Although I have never seen The Book of Mormon or Avenue Q.
