Good Morning!

How was everyone’s Wednesday? I am trying a new coffee this morning. We went to the store last night and I had to try it. Hershey’s Cookies’n’creme.

Have you tried it? To me it tastes like oreos and milk with a hint of coffee. Which, is good considering I am guessing thats what they were going for. Although, it seems like there might be a gross after after taste. I think its just the after taste of milk. Aside from the oh so fun task of food shopping we watched a movie. Shocking, I know. ๐Ÿ˜‰ย  I don’t want to get into much detail right now because I might discuss it on Monday. We watched

If you would like to watch it, click picture for the link. I would love to hear your thoughts about it.

ย Matthew and I are different when it comes to movie viewing. Most of the time I like to know at least a little about the movie, Matthew on the other hand likes to jump in knowing nothing.

If your like me read this:

Tucker and Dale are two best friends on vacation at their dilapidated mountain house, who are mistaken for murderous backwoods hillbillies by a group of obnoxious, preppy college kids. Rotten Tomato

If you watch it message me here or on any of our social medias and let me know what you think. I will probably post your response on Monday.

No I am not talking about #bendgate again, it was just too awesome not to share. Yes, I am talking about Apple, well more specifically the ios update. This last weekend Matthew and I went to Tmobile to check out the Iphone 6. He really wants one, because his phone has been acting up. Of course mine has to. He thinks his phone is dieing. After what I experienced yesterday I would have to think that as well. However, after searching the web it seems as though this is not the case. When they released the Iphone 6 they also sent out the update. Which, was crap, so bad in fact that some phones were rendered useless. Apple confirmed it stating that fewer than 40,000 were effected. So they put out a new update to “fix” the problem. However, it doesn’t seem to have fixed much. My phone freezes, crashes, and yesterday even glitched a few times.

Matthew has been saying since Steve Jobs passed the company has gone to crap. As much as I hate to admit it, they are. They certainly aren’t doing themselves any favors with putting glitchy stuff out. Don’t get me wrong, as a game developer I understand that you can have problems. Our games have had a few that we had to fix. Of course it didn’t make a great impression on us. However, there is a difference between a free game and a 600-1000 dollar phone.

Have you guys experienced any of this? Do you have an Iphone? Matts probably going to call me crazy but I have considered many times after getting our Iphones of reverting back to android. However, its hard, because at the moment our games are only on ios.

“Here’s what Apple needs to address:

  • Increase confidence in iOS updates with stricter quality assurance testing.
  • Work on making iOS updates less of a performance drag on older hardware.
  • Streamline the iOS update mechanism. Post PC means not needing a PC, even to update. iOS 8 failed at this.
  • Dump the 16GB iPhone and iPad and make 32GB the base model.” zdnet

Have you been watching and waiting for the Steam Machine?

I was searching for news about it and it turns out if you log in before October 25, you can find out your eligibility to be a beta tester. They plan to pick 300 person to test it out. In their Q&A section it says that around 30 will be picked based on their community contribution, and the rest will be picked at random based on their eligibility.

I’m going to have to check it out. It says that the 300 will receive the boxes free of charge.
